Jasiel Legon joined GTE Financial as SVP, Chief Talent (HR) Officer in August 2016. Since joining GTE Financial the Tampa Bay Times and Tampa Bay Business Journal has recognized GTE Financial in the top 100 Companies in Top Workplaces Tampa Bay and Best Places to Work for 5 years in a row. Jasiel has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, and began his career with Barnett Bank in Tampa, Florida.
Jasiel holds the following professional HR certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR-HRCI) and Senior Certified Professional (SCP-SHRM). He received a MA in Human Performance Improvement/ Organization Development from Roosevelt University, a BA in Communication and Business from Columbia College Chicago. Jasiel serves on the Board of Directors of CareerSource Tampa Bay, CUNA Human Resources & Organizational Development Executive Council.
