Join Crowe LLP for a discussion of fair lending and the increased regulatory scrutiny financial institutions are facing in this area. This session will review the basics of fair lending in the new regulatory landscape. Topics we will aim to explore include appraisal bias, redlining, the fair lending impact of the end of Chevron Deference, ROVs and AVMs, risk measurement and mitigation, and other examination and supervision related priorities from the federal agencies.
Attendee Takeaways:
- Understand the steps involved in applying fair lending principles to every part of the loan cycle.
- An overview of potential redlining risk and how to proactively identify and manage the fair lending risks.
- Recognize the regulatory priorities and examination approaches of the federal agencies and identify best practices and guidance to ensure your credit union meets and exceeds regulatory expectations.
PLEASE NOTE: You cannot "register a colleague" for Council member-only events unless they are also a member or choose to join. The system currently offers this option and we are working to remove it to eliminate confusion. Thank you.
