Sedric Brinson lives his life by the simple standard of the Golden Rule of treating others as he would like to be treated. His passion for people is what fuels his desire to see communities thrive financially. Sedric’s purpose in life is simply to bring awareness to the credit union mantle of people helping people. He is a huge advocate for financial literacy and helping to meet the needs of members in the community.
Sedric has served in the industry for over 19 years. As a converted banker, he used those experiences as a driving force to make a difference in the credit union space. Sedric received his C.U.D.E. designation in the Best Class Ever of November 2017. Sedric is also a graduate of the Southwest Credit Union Management School at TCU in 2019.
He currently serves as the past chairman and co-founder of L.E.A.D. MS (Leaders Engaged in Action and Development), which is the first ever organized Credit Union YP program in the state of Mississippi geared specifically toward the development of young, eager professionals looking to be mentored and developed in their careers.
Christopher Morris Christopher Morris

As the Vice President of Councils at America's Credit Unions, Christopher Morris is responsible for the Councils’ membership strategy, ensuring growth and retention, while also improving services. This role cultivates relationships with members, as well as with staff across America’s Credit Unions, to execute and advance enterprise goals. Christopher provides strategic direction for Council programs, events, conferences, and products, ensuring alignment and integration with the association’s mission and advocacy efforts. Christopher also provides leadership and direction to the Councils team.
An award-winning speaker, facilitator and trainer, Christopher is well versed in membership, strategy planning, membership, innovation, business and data strategy planning, strategic communications, marketing, social media, fundraising and business development. He has worked for almost two decades in credit unions, at organizations like the National Credit Union Foundation, CUNA, AdvantEdge Analytics (a TruStage company) and CUNA Councils.
Known as a passionate advocate for the credit union difference, Christopher is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC), Certified Credit Union Board Member (CCUB) and earned his Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation in 2005. He received both his Caribbean DE (CaribDE) designation and International CUDE (I-CUDE) designation in 2016. Additionally, he helped lead the transformational CUDE Training for hundreds of credit union professionals as a mentor and facilitator.
Christopher loves volunteering with food pantries and other nonprofits. He also enjoys organizing group volunteer opportunities for local credit union professionals to give back.
Christopher earned his BA in teaching high school English from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is a veteran of the United States Army, including NATO peacekeeping operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
As an accomplished writer, artist and musician, Christopher spends a lot of his spare time engaging in creative pursuits. For example, he is the author of the book "We Are All Made of Scars," a memoir highlighting his tumultuous teenage years along with lessons learned, released in 2023. Additionally, he's an avid painter and donates his finished works to credit union fundraising auctions. Christopher was also a music-based educator and known as 1/2 of The Disclosures, “musicians with a mission” that have written songs, created popular videos and performed presentations about the importance of financial literacy and social responsibility.
Hannah Wilburn Hannah Wilburn

Hannah Wilburn joined America's Credit Unions in August 2024 as Director, Member Councils. In this role, she leads and empowers all aspects of Councils, including serving as the primary point of contact for the Operations and Member Experience, Technology, Finance, and Marketing, PR, and Development Councils.
Hannah has more than a decade of experience in the credit union industry, with her background primarily focusing on community relations, marketing, and business development. A people person through and through, she has extensive experience activating communities and leaders to cultivate an environment where credit unions and their members thrive.
Based in the Florida Panhandle, Hannah holds a BA in Business Administration from Troy University and is heavily involved with her home community. She currently serves as a U.S. Air Force, Air Force Material Command (AFMC) Civic Leader, representing Eglin Air Force Base, the largest USAF base in the nation. She is also Honorary Commander of the 33rd Fighter Wing's Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) located at Eglin.
