Gavin Montgomery
Gavin Montgomery joined ALM First Financial Advisors in 2020. In his capacity, Gavin plays a pivotal role in assisting financial institutions in optimizing their balance sheets for peak performance and efficiency. With a focus on holistic partnerships, Gavin leverages comprehensive balance sheet risk analytics and strategic insights to guide clients towards achieving their financial objectives. Prior to joining ALM First, Gavin headed up special projects at Liberty Group Ltd (a financial services group with more than $30 billion of assets under management) where he was responsible for establishing and running a broker-dealer. Gavin previously headed up a risk function and helped build an effective Treasury and ALM function for Liberty Group Ltd. He has more than 18 years of capital markets experience. Gavin holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Spain as well as a BS in Actuarial Science.
