Linda White
Linda White, CUDE is president and CEO of Upward Credit Union in Burlingame, CA. She recently announced her plans to retire on September 1, 2022. Linda has been with Upward Credit Union since 1985, and has served as president and CEO of the organization for the past 24 years.
White graduated from Western CUNA Management School (WCMS) in 1990. She also attended Stanford Executive Development School.
White received the Distinguished Service Award along with the Grassroots Leader of the Year and the Kim Bannan Eternal Flame Award in 2012 and 2018, respectively, honors bestowed by the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues. She became a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) in 2019, a special program of the National Credit Union Foundation.
White has been a thought leader throughout the credit union industry, serving on numerous committees with the California Credit Union League, Credit Union National Association (CUNA), CUNA Mutual, and the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI). She is a founding board member of the Healthcare Credit Union Association (HCUA); a founding member of the Credit Union Women’s Leadership Alliance (CUWLA) and a member of the World Council of Credit Unions’ – Global Woman’s Leadership Network.
