SVP, Chief Experience Officer
River Valley CU
Miamisburg, Ohio
I am asking for your vote to return for a second term on the M&BD Executive committee. I have been in marketing and advertising since 1995, working at traditional advertising agencies before joining the credit union movement in 2001. I’m a past CUNA Marketing and Business Development Executive Committee member from 2004-2006, a 2005 World Council of Credit Unions Young Professional, 2016 and 2018 Diamond Award Judge, multiple Diamond Award winner, sought-after conference speaker for leagues and associations all over North America and author of, “Aha Moments,” and, “More Aha Moments.” I also spent 14 years as a credit union marketing consultant, growing and building the brands for dozens of credit unions from across the country. Now I’m back as SVP, Chief Experience Officer at River Valley Credit Union in Ohio, and I would love the privilege of serving on the CUNA Executive Committee again.

As a seasoned (but futurist) credit union marketing professional, I would be honored to continue representing my credit union marketing colleagues on the Executive Committee. Over the last 25 years my marketing experience touched many areas including brand awareness, media strategy, sponsorships and endorsements, business development, community engagement and leadership development. At the end of the day, the most important part of my job is service to others. I love that my work revolves around bringing awareness and educating others on why being a member of a credit union is really something special.

Over the past four years, I have been an active volunteer on the CUNA Marketing & BD conference planning committee, contributing to successful strategies as a subcommittee co-chair, and participating as a speaker. As a result of the experiences with CUNA, I have deepened my industry knowledge and expanded my network both locally and nationally. In pursuit of professional growth, I am working towards the CUCME designation and recently co-chaired the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women event, exceeding fundraising goals from previous years.
