The CUNA Technology Council Nominating Committee is pleased to announce the following candidates for its 2023 election.

The fundamental principle of "People helping people" stands as a long-established cornerstone of credit unions. This philosophy echoes what I truly love about the credit union industry, its’ primary focus on helping people. While serving on the Executive Committee, I've actively contributed to the Conference Committee, the Sponsorship Committee, and presently, I hold the position of Chair for the Speed Rounds Committee.
With passion and dedication, I commit to collaborative engagement with peers on the CUNA Technology Council Executive Committee, alongside industry experts. Collectively, we will find innovative and imaginative approaches to harness technology in resolving business challenges which confront our industry and members.

Currently Vice Chair, I’ve served your Executive Committee for five and a half years. I’ve moderated webinars and contributed to white papers, serving or chairing our Member Resource, Sponsorship, Engagement, Nominating, and Awards Committees.
A lifelong learner, my background includes Accounting, Technology, Sales and Service, Operations, Lending, and Marketing. I’ve served the credit union movement for 22 years through credit unions ranging from $500 million to $1B in assets. I’ve completed WCMS, CUDE, CCUFC, a BS in Marketing, my MBA, recently graduating from Filene’s prestigious i3 innovation program.
I love helping people see nuances in information and think differently; helping people solve difficult problems lights me up inside.
I maintain strategic relationships with Fintech partners like Clutch, ZestAI, and Incent and stay current on technology through memberships like John Best’s Innovation Club, and, of course, CUNA’s Technology Council.
I would be honored to continue representing you on our Executive Committee.

As the second largest credit union in the nation, the technology we provide is a catalyst to our success. As the CITO, I recognize taking calculated risks through innovation is not only vital to our organization, but oxygen in our industry.
In my first two years we’ve taken significant strides in modernizing our Technology organization. Launching our transformations of our Core Banking system, Digital Banking, ATM, Branch and Call Center, and Lending Systems Upgrades to name a few. A feat not for the faint of heart.
I am extremely proud of the work we are doing at SECU. I’m interested in bringing my unique skills to the Technology Council Executive Committee in a way that translates to growth for all of us. The opportunity to lead strategic direction and help coordinate council efforts to deliver a profound impact throughout the Credit Union world is compelling, and a challenge I welcome.

I humbly request for your consideration as I am interested in serving you as a member of the Technology Council Executive Committee. Over the years, I gained a deep sense of appreciation and gratitude for this community of very supportive credit union technology leaders, thus my desire to serve and give back to this community that have been very good to me.
I am currently serving as a member of the Technology Council Member Resources Committee, as well as a volunteer mentor for the CUNA Councils Mentorship Program.

I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the Executive Committee! With over 30 years of experience in IT and a proven track record of driving innovation and efficiency, I am passionate about contributing to the Council's mission.
As VP of IS & Development at GECU, I have successfully implemented multiple projects aligned with our strategy, streamlining processes and creating efficiencies with a member centric focus.
I am an active member of the Sponsorship Committee and the Member Resources Committee. I have been a guest panelist at the CUNA Conference session on RPA, as well as speaking on a webinar on Robotic Process Automation, hosting Technology Council chats, and collaborating on white papers.
My ability to build and lead high-performing teams has fostered a culture of excellence and innovation. If elected, I will leverage my experience and passion to drive technological advancements for the benefit of credit unions and their members!

As a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in IT, I will bring a unique perspective to the Executive Committee.
Prior to joining OCCU, I was the CIO at California Coast Credit Union, driving their digital transformation efforts. Over the past 6 years, I have demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of the credit union movement. Whether it be volunteering on the CUNA CU System Digitization team or forming an IT Leadership Forum for credit union tech professionals in southern CA. My contributions to the credit union movement make me the perfect candidate for the Executive Committee.
If given the opportunity, I will serve as a thought leader, sharing my knowledge and expertise for the benefit of all council members.
