CUNA Finance Council scholarship programs

Each year, CUNA Finance Council offers scholarships to eligible credit union staff. The Scholarship Committee will award recipients based on specific scholarship criteria.

Scholarships will be awarded up to $2,500 and can be used for combined expenses related to the program. Scholarships will be approved prior to the event but reimbursed after proof of attendance and receipts for out-of-pocket expenses are provided.

The deadline for the Finance Council Conference scholarship application is April 1, 2025.

Scholarships are also available to attend the Financial Management School (deadline June 1, 2025) and the Investment Certification School (deadline June 15, 2025).

Take advantage of this opportunity to participate with your peers from around the country. Scholarship recipients will be reimbursed up to $2,500 for conference registration, hotel and airfare expenses. Any fees or expenses that exceed the awarded amount are the responsibility of the recipient and/or their credit union. Scholarship recipients for the conference must stay at the hotel in which the conference takes place.

To be eligible for a Finance scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Requests must be for the Finance Council Conference or approved schools.

  5. One scholarship per credit union per year, across all Councils. A credit union cannot be awarded a scholarship (regardless of Council) two years in a row.
